chuka_lisСуды Линча в США никуда не делись, культура, их подпитывающая- все та же.
Гражданам США "приходится" самим принимать меры по борьбе со всякими преступниками.
Длаее будет не первый случай, когда оружие "помогает" его носителям-гражданским ( или служащим) бороться с преступностью. Мне такие случаи периодически попадаются в прессе.
Некоторые владельцы пистолетов и разрешений на их ношение считают, что они вправе их применить против нарушителей (или подозреваемых).
Потому что они ведь вооружены и круты. И "борятся за справедливость". А раз есть оружие, почему б и не застрелить кого-то, кто нарушил порядок?
Текущий случай:
В Орегоне охранник на велосипеде дискутировал с подозреваемым в краже из Хоум Дипо (строительный магазин) на парковке- когда на помощь ему подоспел "самаритянин", спровоцировавший драку с подозреваемым, и вскоре "кто-то вытащил пистолет" и у подозреваемого оказались тяжелые огнестрельные ранения. Сейчас подстреленный в критическом состоянии в больнице. Если умрет- будет прекрасный случай "самозащиты"- потому что и охранник и "самаритянин" почти наверняка скажут, что подозреваемый в воровстве на их напал и угрожал их жизням. Очень удобно.
Или далее, например, в том же Портленде чуть в другом месте. Стрелял чудак, и хорошо что ни в кого не попал.
Или вот еще, самаритянка в Мичигане, что стреляла в уезжающую с парковки Хоум Димо машину с возможными ворами (и тоже хорошо, что не попала ни в кого):
"Home Depot store security was chasing a shoplifter who jumped into a waiting dark SUV... When the SUV began to pull away, a 48-year-old woman began firing shots at the dark SUV The 48-year-old woman has a concealed pistol license (CPL), but police say she apparently wasn't being threatened by the shoplifter who got away ".
Пуля-то дура, и летит далеко.
И те, кто стреялет "вслед ворам", (реально ли видевшие воровство, или слышали о нем, или видели преследование, даже не зная, обоснованное оно или нет, или подозревают что была совершена кража) не считают, что они делают что-то плохое или опасное:
"Georgia resident ... has pleaded not guilty to reckless endangerment... Не was a customer inside the Belk store in Prattville that Wednesday afternoon when he and another person followed a suspected shoplifter outside. .. Не is said to have fired at least one shot, aiming at the suspect's tires. Police say that shot was not fired in self-defense and was a violation of the law."
Кассир, которому не заплатли за упаковку пива, имеющий право на скрытое ношение оружия, тоже может пострелять в вора:
"Police said 44-year-old ..entered the market located at 2012 South Hamilton Road around 2:30 p.m. and reportedly picked up a pack a beer and took it to the counter. According to police, when his credit card was declined, Smith ran out the door with the beer. Police said store clerk chased Smith before reportedly firing three shots. Smith was hit in the leg. He has since been treated and released.""Smith faces a misdemeanor theft charge for the beer, which was valued at $17.99."
Еще один "самаритянин", промахнувшийся, благородный герой:
"The shoplifting suspects left the store and were walking to their vehicle when a silver vehicle, occupied by one male, pulled up and shot twice at the shoplifting suspects."
Или во Флориде
"Deputies say Adams was suspected of stealing diapers from the store, and Leonard, who was shopping at the time, chased Adams to his car and fired several shots at him."
И ранее там же:
"off-duty law enforcement officer saw McKee running for his car and ordered him to stop, but McKee fled. Investigators said another man in the parking lot, who was identified as Jose Martinez, pulled out a gun and fired at least four shots at McKee. The back window of the car was shot out, and bullet holes were found in the trunk. Martinez told authorities he was trying to mark McKee's car, but officials said bullets landed inches away from the cars of bystanders."- опять таки, ххорошо, что ни в кого не попал.
Укравшего 4 бутылки спиртного в Линкольне -подстрелить, потому что у "самаритянина" есть пистолет и право на его ношение:
"Shelby Jones, 38, was a customer in a Lincoln convenience store during an incident on August 1st. According to Lincoln Police, a clerk in the Kwik Shop at 56th and Holdrege tried to restrain Tilian Tilan, 22, as Tilian tried to steal four bottles of liquor. When Tilian broke free, Jones tried to block him from leaving the store, and then allegedly shot him in the back of the arm as he ran away. He was outside of the store at the time, and police found no weapons with him. Jones has a permit to carry a concealed weapon."

Разумеется, такое поведение гражданских - это не то чтобы исключение.
Полицейские тоже вполне позволяют себе стрелять по отъезжающим машинам воров строительных инструментов и материалов. И это точно не защита своей жизни -стрелять вдогонку убегающему- с риском ранить или убить других людей, возможно, находящихся в машине, или далее на парковке.
И не только при воровстве стройматериалов, и не только на дежурстве:
"said he witnessed the incident and tried to stop the suspects... сhased the suspects through the mall and into the first level of the I-270 west parking garage. The officer said the men got into a car, started it and he recalled the engine suddenly accelerated.At that time, the officer fired one shot toward the vehicle"
Причем и убивают в машине тех, кто побросал ворованное в магазине и пытался убежать:
"Chanel L. Barnes, Raoul A. Gadson and LaShanda Anderson allegedly tried to steal more than $3,400 in merchandise from a Marshalls store in Deptford Township on June 9, 2018. Store loss prevention officers intercepted them as they headed for the door with the stolen items jammed in a suitcase and a scuffle ensued. The shoplifters abandoned the goods and ran. As Anderson drove off, arriving Deptford police officers attempted to stop her... who fired three shots at the SUV, killing Anderson, 36, of Philadelphia.A Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office investigation cleared Clements of any wrongdoing in the incident".
Полисмена, который стоял впереди машины "Meanwhile, Clements was standing between 12 and 25 feet in front of the vehicle and drew his firearm as he ordered Anderson out of the vehicle" и опасался за свою жизнь, когда машина поехала вперед, вместо того чтоб уйти с курса машины, храбро решил застрелить водителя почти в упор- вероятно, надеясь, что машина сразу остановится - естественно, оправдали -тк трое в машине были заядлыми ворами, а про одного из них была наводка полисмену (ошибочная, правда) что он даже убийца. Так что вместо того, чтоб убежать от едущей машины, благо расстояние вполне позволяло (4-8 метров примерно, достаточно чтоб отпрыгнуть от стартующей машины)- надежнее преступников застрелить, пусть и рискуя, что убитый или раненый водитель судорожно нажмет на акселератор а не на тормоз, и задавит тебя, якобы опасающегося за свою жизнь: "The SUV accelerated toward him and "fearing for his life," he fired three shots in rapid succession, striking Anderson twice."
Бывшие полицейские аналогично:
"A person was believed to have walked out of the Home Depot without paying, and a retired police officer attempted to stop the suspected shoplifter, according to police. The retired officer fired two rounds at the person driving away, and one of those two "
Сначала стрелять, а потом думать, "наказать" преступнкиа самому- уж коли есть оружие в кармане - это в крови.
Это все называется самосуд. Обвинил, осудил и привел приговор в исполнение.
Правда, есть подозрение, что если б не наличие оружия, таких быстрых "решений", что "помочь", что "наказать" - не было бы. Без пистолета подумали бы.
Пистолет сильно мотивирует на определенный образ действий- тем, что его владелец чувствует себя сильным и компетентным, и достойным, и правым- тк вооружен.
