Вот ДиСантис избирателям обещает, что моноклональные антитела здорово работают.
Все помнят как болел ковидом трамп? Как ио президента "слегка прихворнул", позаражал народ, а потом бегом в госпиталь, ремдесвирчик там, моноклональные антитела, дексаметазон, кислород, все дружно, и при том что "болел не тяжело", возле него крутились человек 20 докторов и медсестер, крыло госпиталя в распоряжении - в то время как обычные люди его возраста, жившие в той же в стране, почти не имели такой возможности лечения, пока не на вентиляторе. Ибо дорого. Или не совсем разрешено.
Теперь заболел губарнатор Техаса.
Тестировался он ежедневно (ну, работа такая, не то что у других), вчера вечером еще участвовал в большом массовом мероприятии (несколько сотен человек, все без масок, тк зачем они людям среднего и пожилого возраста в приличном республиканском обществе, для близких контактаов, не на природе), и вот во вторник - положительный тест.
И уже получил профилактическое лечение моноклональными антителами. А так у нас в США бывает. Лечат сразу.
При том что он "не имеет симптомов, в прекрасном здравии, и полностью привит".
Ну да, а все ли техасцы, которые радуются тому, что противоэпидемические меры поотменяли- могут быть уверены, что им в тот же день, когда будет положительный тест, сразу же прокапают антитела для лечения ковида? Вон в Техасе сейчас около 15 тыс случаев в день. Наверное, все сразу получают антитела, не иначе. Губернатор- пример.
Да, ФДА как раз на днях утвердила "профилактическое" применение моноклональных антител группам риска при при экспозиции или до симптомов.
При этом для применения в таких случаях коктейля антител человек должен быть непривит, быть иммунокомпромиссным и быть в группе риска развития тяжелого ковида.

В любом случае, ФДА не рекомендоавло такое лечение- для асимптоматичного ковида у привитого и практически здорового человека.
Что не мешает губернатору Техаса подстраховаться, так же?
Жизнь ведь одна.
С другой стороны, когда так легко получить моноклональные антитела всем нуждающимся, еще до симптомов даже - откуда в стране 83 тысячи человек, госпитализированных за последнюю неделю? Почему они не получили свой коктейль антител вовремя, как техасский губернатор? Как могло случиться, при такой доступности препарата и предупредительности медиков, что в Алабаме, например, осталось всего 2 реанимационный палаты, из-за ковидного наплыва?
Да в том же техасе 12 тысяч госпитализиваронных с ковидом и ситуация с реанимациями не особо лучше..

Texas is currently averaging 14,453 new cases per day, according to a seven-day average from the New York Times' COVID-19 case tracker.
Covid-19 hospitalizations have doubled over the past three weeks, with 83,693 people hospitalized this week, according to data from the US Department of Health and Human Service.Only two ICU beds are left in the entire state of Alabama, the Alabama Hospital Association told CNN on Tuesday. Alabama has 1,562 staffed intensive care unit beds and 1,560 patients in need of ICU care, AHA Executive Vice President Rosemary Blackmon told CNN.
