Это все печально, потому что тактика ублажения и поддержания агрессора обычно не сдерживает агрессию, а наоборот. Так же, трамп и ко продолжают "организовывать переговоры" по "мирному урегулированию", под которым понимается, фактически, сдача Украины, на милость россии. С моей колокольни, лучше бы США не позориться, хоть какой-то инстинкт самосохранения и попытки держать маску при плохой игре должны были бы быть. Но чего нет, того нет. США, в лице трампа, Украине в качестве поддержки или хоть каких то гарантий со своей стороны "ничего не обещает", путин и рф вообще не являются договороспособными. Смысл регуляторного участия США - нулевой. Напомню, когда трамп заявлял, что он якобы "договорился" что рф не будет бить по эеннергетической и критической инфраструктуре, рф в очередной раз наносила удары. С тех пор как трамп начал продвигать свои мирные инициативы, рф никак не поменяла своих агрессивных действий и продолжала атаковать как обычно. Не путин будет слушать трампа, а трамп, поет и будет петь под путинскую дудку, и транслировать кремлевскую пропаганду в США, с главной трибуны.

США отказало Мексике в подаче воды в Тихуану (речка Колорадо течет с севера на юг, и на речке дамбы, контролировать поток можно)- под предлогом что Мексика не дает достаточно воды Техасу из реки Рио Гранде (течет по границе). Это впервые с 1944 года, когда между США и Мексикой был заключен договор по "обмену" водой. К сожалению, изза постоянных засух, Мексика выполняла поставки " в последнюю минуту". Администрация трампа, решила наконец-то Мексику- "наказать".

Date: 2025-03-24 10:58 am (UTC)Во-первых, никакой репутации ни в политических, ни в дипломатических кругах у Уиткоффа нет, потому что он всю жизнь занимался недвижимостью. В молодости он был адвокатом по вопросам недвижимости, а потом стал инвестором. В деловых кругах то, что он чем-то там ущемит Украину и поможет Кремлю, мало, что значит по сравнению с его успехами в инвестициях в недвижимость.
Во-вторых, даже если его дипломатические эскапады и нанесут какой-то ущерб его деловой репутации, то дедушке уже стукнуло 68 лет и он владеет более 50 серьёзными объектами недвижимости. Имеет право на старости лет почудить, окунувшись в дипломатические разборки.
В-третьих, подозреваю, что его посредническая работа принесёт ему изрядную материальную выгоду. Не говоря уже о том, что после всего он может написать интересную книгу воспоминаний "как это было на самом деле".
