To protect the name, image, and likeness rights of student athletes and to promote fair competition with respect to intercollegiate athletics, and for other purposes.
To protect law enforcement officers, and for other purposes.
To direct the Secretary of Labor to train certain employees of Department of Labor how to effectively detect and assist law enforcement in preventing human trafficking during the course of their official duties, and for other purposes.
To direct the Secretary of Commerce to establish a pilot program with respect to the sale of blue catfish caught within the Chesapeake Bay Watershed.

Продажа сомов из Чесапикского залива, на самом деле, вещь историческая. Ещё лет двадцать назад их можно было продать разве что на нефтеперегонный завод.

https://tverezo.info/post/208095 Дефицит бюджета неуклонно уменьшался в течение первого срока Клинтона в 1993-1996 годах. В 1997 году бюджет был с нулевым балансом, а в 1998-2001 годах он был профицитным, доходы превышали расходы... в 2003 году Конгресс с его республиканским большинством по инициативе Буша снизил налоги (как обычно, это коснулось богатых индивидуумов и корпораций). Значительный рост экономики, обещанный теоретиками этой реформы, не произошел.

Дивна система, архаічна. Біли "про усе", включно про те що повинно працювати без залучання Конгресу (при нормально працюючих законах у суспільстві)
Стосовно білів від демократів- та зараз Конгрес не контролює президента, ваги-противаги - зламані. Вони намагаються піднімати питання, але..шансів майже 0.

ну если присмотреться то каждый бил имеет под собой основание. тем более там разные комиссии и пр. Однако, выглядит уровнем микроменджмента, система не налажена так, чтоб к таким рядовым вопросам не подключать верховную власть. как бы ожидается по здравому размышлению чтоб Конгресс и президенты выполняли функцию головного, а не спинного мозга.

разумеется. пропаганда от республиканцев про виновность демократов в росте гос долга (и прочих єкономических и политических проблемах) не является правдой. как и многое другое из их пропагандьі.
